Understand Review to send and lead statuses

Review Leads in the sidebar opens the Review to send page. It holds the leads that are ready for a first message but have not been contacted yet. You review one lead at a time: who they are, why they fit, and what you want to send.

Which leads you see here

Only leads that have not been contacted yet appear here. As soon as a lead is scheduled, sent to, or in a running campaign, it moves to the Outbox; when they reply, to the Inbox.

Use the filters at the top to choose which leads you work on:

  • Status: New (the default), Review later, Ignored, or All of these.
  • Score: All qualified leads (the default, Prio 1 to 3), Only Prio 1 leads, Only Prio 2 leads, Only Prio 3 leads, Only Disqualified leads, Only ? leads (no verdict), or All qualified & disqualified leads.
  • Select Lists, Sort by, and Filter narrow the queue further.

Typing a name in the search box searches all three statuses, whatever filters are set.

The Review to send page: a queue of leads on the left, the message composer on the right, and the lead actions in the bar at the bottom.

Chat or Campaign

Each lead can be contacted in two ways, shown as two tabs:

  • Chat: you write and send individual messages to this one lead.
  • Campaign: the lead is contacted by a campaign's sequence. The tab shows the sequence of the lead's campaign. If the lead has none yet, choose Assign to campaign or Create campaign.

When you select a lead, the page opens the tab that fits: Campaign if the lead has a campaign, otherwise Chat.

Write and send a message (Chat)

  1. Optionally click Generate 3 draft messages to let the AI write drafts. This costs 1 credit per lead; generating again for the same lead is free. Create drafts for the next 5 leads prepares drafts for the next leads in the queue, at 1 credit per lead.
  2. Check From (sender) and To (channel), and edit the message. Insert variable and templates help with personalisation.
  3. Choose when it goes out with Send: Now, Tomorrow, In 3 business days, up to In 3 months, or Custom date.
  4. Use Add Follow-up to plan the next message, by default one day after the previous one.
  5. Click Send message (or Send N messages when there are several).

The lead then leaves this page and appears in the Outbox, and a message confirms it with a link there.

For a LinkedIn invitation, Add note to LinkedIn invite adds a note: at most 200 characters, or 300 with LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator. The option is not available when you are already connected to the lead. If the sender is on LinkedIn Free, the note starts switched off, because LinkedIn allows Free accounts only a few notes a month; switch it on when you want one.

Put a lead into a campaign (Campaign)

  • Assign to campaign opens a picker. Only pre-assign links the campaign without sending anything; the lead stays here and later shows Confirm & send. Assign & send out starts the outreach.
  • If the lead already has a campaign, Send sequence schedules its sequence after you confirm with Schedule.
  • If the campaign is not running yet, Signalist asks Start the campaign? Choose Start campaign & assign to start it, or Assign only to keep it stopped. Leads are only contacted while their campaign is running.

Lead actions in the bottom bar

Review laterMoves the lead to the Review later status. Nothing is sent; the lead stays on this page under that filter.
Ignore LeadMoves the lead to Ignored. Nothing is sent or deleted.
Snooze LeadSnoozes the lead until a date and time you choose.
Stop sending after dateSets a date after which no more campaign messages go to this lead, for example after an event. The button then shows the date.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to check
A lead is missingThe Status and Score filters: the default shows only New, qualified leads. A lead that was already scheduled or contacted is in the Outbox.
The note toggle is greyed outYou are already connected to the lead, so an invitation is not needed. On LinkedIn Free the note is only switched off at first; you can switch it on.
Nothing happened after assigning a campaignYou chose Only pre-assign, or Assign only while the campaign was stopped. Start the campaign to contact the lead.
The wrong sender is selectedChange From before sending. For campaigns, the senders are set in the campaign.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the sidebar item called Review Leads and the page Review to send?

It is the same page. Review Leads is the sidebar label; Review to send is the page title.

Does Review later send anything?

No. It only moves the lead to the Review later status, so you can come back to it.

What is the difference between Only pre-assign and Assign & send out?

Only pre-assign links the lead to a campaign without contacting them. Assign & send out starts the outreach, as long as the campaign is running.

Can I edit AI drafts?

Yes. Edit the text in the composer before sending. Editing does not cost credits.

Can I undo Unsubscribe?

Only by removing the entry under Do Not Contact → Blacklist with Remove from Blacklist. Do this only if the person has agreed to be contacted again.
