Tracker & Signals

Process your daily Signal Feed

The Feed shows what your trackers found: news, posts, and changes at the companies and people you track, sorted into cards per company. Work through it regularly and decide for each card: reach out now, look again later, or ignore it.

Open the Feed

Click Feed in the sidebar. At the top, choose which tracker lists to include ("2 lists"), search by name or company, and jump to a company sorted by signal strength or date.

The tabs sort the companies by what you have done with them:

TabWhat is in it
NewCompanies with new signals you have not handled yet.
To be reviewedCompanies you set aside with Review later.
AssignedCompanies whose leads are already in outreach.
IgnoredCompanies you ignored for this round of signals.
Tracked ProfilesEvery company you track.

Two filters narrow the cards: by lead priority (for example All qualified leads or Only Prio 1 leads) and by signal priority (for example Only Signal Prio 1).

Read a card

A Feed card: the signal priority, the person and company, a headline and summary, the most relevant signals with their scores, and the Reach out button. The lead panel is open on the right.

  • Prio 1 Signal – Clear buying intent or Prio 2/3 Signal – Worth to reach out: the strongest signal found in this round.
  • The person and company, with the lead's own score (P1, P2, P3, DQ, or ?) on their avatar. Lead score and signal priority are separate: a strong signal can come from a lead who fits less well, and the other way round.
  • A headline and a short summary of what happened.
  • Most relevant signals since a date. Each signal has a score (S1 strong, S2 moderate, S3 low priority, DQ not relevant) and a badge showing whether it is about the person, the company (CO), or the industry (IN). Source opens the original.

Expand a signal to see Why this is relevant / what to mention.

Act on a card

  • Reach out to the person: Add to campaign, Review & edit campaign, Let AI write a sequence, or Write manually.
  • Ignore this time: hides the company until its next round of signals. You can undo it straight away.
  • … menu: Review later, Move back to New, Move to Ignored, add the lead to your CRM, remove the person from the tracker, or Stop tracking the company.

To correct a single signal, hover its score and choose a different one under Change signal score, or choose Ignore signal and write a short note on why it is not relevant.

Signalist learns from these corrections. When it scores new signals for your company, it uses your team's 20 most recent corrections and ignore notes as examples, on every tracker list of your company. A short, specific note, such as "price cuts are not a buying signal for us", helps most.

A daily routine

  1. Start with New and the filter Only Signal Prio 1.
  2. Check each signal's source and whether it really concerns the person or company.
  3. Reach out where the signal gives you a real reason to write; use Review later where you need more context.
  4. Ignore what is not relevant, and correct signal scores that are clearly wrong. Future signals are scored with your corrections in mind.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to do
The Feed is emptyCheck the list selector at the top, and whether your trackers have run. A new tracker needs its first scan.
An ignored company is backIgnore this time only hides a company until its next round of signals. Use Stop tracking to remove it.
Too many weak signalsFilter by Only Signal Prio 1, and sharpen the priority definitions in the tracker's signal settings. Ignoring weak signals with a short note also teaches the scoring.
A signal concerns the wrong person or companyChoose Ignore signal and note why.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the signal priority and the lead score?

The signal priority says how strong the reason to reach out is. The lead score (P1, P2, P3, DQ) says how well the person and company fit your target. They are shown separately.

What does Assigned mean?

The company's leads are already in outreach, for example in a running campaign.

Does ignoring a company stop tracking it?

No. Ignore this time hides it until the next round of signals. Stop tracking removes it from the tracker.

Can I change a signal's score?

Yes. Hover the score and choose a different one under Change signal score. You can undo it straight away.

Does Signalist learn from my corrections?

Yes. Your team's 20 most recent corrections and ignore notes are used as examples when new signals are scored for your company, on all of its tracker lists. Signals that were already scored keep their score. Your feedback is only ever used for your own company.
